For a small town, Granville has many arts & cultural opportunities. Some of the highlights include:

- a collection consisting of nearly 8,000 objects dating from circa 1500 B.C. to the present
- preserving and presenting the history of Granville
- hand-made crafts and objects of art
- one of the most prominent residential examples of American Greek Revival architecture
